Payment & Cancellation Policies

Reservations and Payment Terms:

Trip registration and traveler’s applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. A deposit of $800.00 per traveler is necessary to secure enrollment in any Peace Works Travel (PWT) program. $300.00 is non-refundable. Upon receipt of your registration deposit, an invoice will be sent electronically to the payee, indicating the deposit and tour program balance costs, payable immediately until the deadline of 90 days pre-departure of your trip program. Late registration penalties of 10% total trip cost may apply to Participant account balances unpaid after the 90-day pre-departure deadline, and priority placement given to other Participant traveler applicants on the Waiting List. Failure to pay full balance by 60 days pre-departure may result in Participant application denial. If the Participant’s application is denied for non-payment or unsuitability of participation, $500.00 will be returned to the payee within 30 days from date of submission. Additional bank merchant credit card processing fee of 2.9% applies to payments processed by payees on our website using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted payment portal.

Cancellation Policies:

Final payments are due between 90 to 60 days pre-departure according to the FTWT Trip Program for which Participant is applying. Cancellations between 120 and 90 days pre-departure are subject to a $300 Cancellation fee. Cancellations are subject to 100% loss of airfare cost purchased on Participant’s behalf. Cancellations between 90 to 60 days pre-departure are subject to a loss of 45% of trip costs. Cancellations 45 days or fewer are subject to a loss of 100% of total price.

Travel Protections:

Peace Works Travel recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical* and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.

*To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased with 21 days (Travel Select) or 30 days (Travel Max) from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, the plan can be purchased any time prior to departure.
