High school students nationwide can enroll in the COMM 142: Leadership in a Global Society online SBCC course to earn college credit. Your digital storytelling project on a Peace Works Travel program satisfies the final exam course requirement for COMM 142. Follow the steps to apply and register here.
Step 3: Complete Course Work & Final Project
Complete all COMM 142 coursework. Travel across the San Diego -Tijuana border with a small group of students and teachers. (Enrollment capped at 20.) Professional digital storytelling instruction provides the framework for ethical documentation of places and people affected by U.S. immigration policy today.
