Yes, it’s true! We love it when students get credit for both travel and learning. Online courses make it easy to earn credit at a student’s own pace. Units from Santa Barbara City College help for future college applications, internships and resumes.
Step 1: Sign Up for a Peace Works Student Travel Program
Register for a Peace Works Travel upcoming student travel program. The first option is to register for our Spring Break San Diego-Tijuana Crossing Borders trip (March 19-23) Travelers bear witness to diverse voices: Border Patrol, anti-immigrant activists, bi-national clergy, humanitarians, creative artists and lawyers. The second student travel program option is our Vietnam Experience this summer (July 19-30). Peace Works Travel has an exclusive opportunity to learn the fundamentals of digital storytelling in Vietnam. The workshop will be led by Emmy-winning journalist and filmmaker, Jeff MacIntyre. You will participate in daily hands-on digital workshops with living historians where you will gain critical skills to capture and amplify stories that matter. All levels welcome.
